公式記事 (Introducing the UHK 80 - Ultimate Hacking Keyboard) によるとバッテリーの消耗を防ぎたいなら LED を無効化しておくと良いとのこと。
If you’re on the road and want to maximize your battery time, you better disable the LEDs, as they’re huge power hogs. In this case, the batteries should last about a month.
持ち出すとき以外は (というか持ち出すときであっても) バッテリーを外しておけると良いのだが、方法は不明でマニュアルもない。
パームレスト下のケースを外すとバッテリーが筐体に固定されているのでこれを外す必要があるが、どう固定されているかわからないし迂闊に強い力をかけたくない。
The batteries are easily replaceable; we’ll provide them separately on our webshop. The replacement procedure requires no tools and takes about five minutes.
とりあえずコネクタを外すだけにしておくか。

Changing batteries is pain. Fine for one time installation, but definitely not for frequent swapping.
……らしいので、やはりバッテリー本体は外さずコネクタだけ外すに留めておく方が良さそう。

バッテリーのコネクタは、左右いずれもそれぞれ上から見て、左から右へ黒→黄→赤の向き。
コネクタ自体に逆挿し防止の機能があるか怪しいので、バッテリ横の空きスペースにメモとかを貼っておいた方が良いのかもしれない。

バッテリーのコネクタが小さく、しかも天板の裏側にあって隙間も小さいので、ラジオペンチ等がないと抜くのはもちろん挿すのも難しいかもしれない。

この問題が左手側で発生していることに今 (2026-01-09 06時頃) 初めて気付いた。
右側は今のところ無事。
バッテリーは使っていないので純粋に室温と手の温度や汗によるものと思われる。
